Update 1.36.0
Patch notes are written in English only — the same text the game shows in every language.
The feedback you send from inside the game stops being a black hole. It is now a support ticket with a thread: a GM replies, you read the reply in the game and answer back without leaving it. The city guards were rebuilt in high definition, the Goblin Warlock got its remastered artwork, and the six weapon talent trees now do what their tooltips promised all along.
You must update your client to log in. Close the game and the launcher, then reopen the launcher and press PLAY. This update changes how the client and the server talk to each other, so an old client cannot connect at all.
New
- Feedback you send in-game is now a ticket: staff can reply, and you can reply back inside the game. The Feedback button on F5 and Support ticket on F12 open a dialog with a second tab, "My tickets", where you read the whole thread. When there is an unread reply, both buttons pulse and you get a line in the event list as you enter the world.
- The city guards have been completely redrawn in high definition, with a new spellcasting animation they never had before.
- City Hall can now switch a Hero Cape between its two looks for 50 EK, both ways. Your cape keeps everything: enchants, prefixes, upgrade level and durability, and the dialog shows which cape changes and into what before you pay.
- Attack neutrals: a new option (F12 - System, or Ctrl+N, off by default) lets a plain click attack neutral creatures such as unicorns, cats and rabbits without holding Ctrl. Players, town NPCs and guards are never targeted.
- Press Alt+T over someone's chat line to offer them a reputation trade, the same way Ctrl+P invites them to your party.
- Drinking an Experience Potion or using a slate while one of the same kind is already active now asks for confirmation first, showing how much time is left and warning that the duration does not stack.
- The client checks its own game files when it starts. If the artwork has been altered or extra files have been planted among them, it says so and points you at Repair instead of showing you a broken or black game.
Improved
- Downloads now resume where they left off instead of restarting, which makes installing and patching far more reliable on unstable connections.
- Weapons marked +1 and +2 no longer demand level 70 across the board. Each family now has its own level ladder, so the upgraded weapons dropped by orcs and other low-level monsters can actually be used when you find them.
- The City Hall Hero list now shows EK and Contribution in their own columns, and the one you are short on is highlighted, so you can tell at a glance what you are missing.
- Newly looted gear no longer lands on top of a same-type item in your bag unless it is truly identical. Different stats, enchants or durability now go to your chosen "new item position".
- Dragging items into the Disenchant queue now stacks them, just like double-clicking does.
- The /command help now fits inside its panel, and shows the keyboard shortcut for /to (Ctrl+T), /party (Ctrl+P) and /traderep (Alt+T).
- Hero Capes renamed: the long version is now the "Combatant Hero Cape". The old "+1" name said nothing about stats, and both versions are identical except for how they look.
- Hero Capes can no longer be dyed, and now say so clearly instead of failing with a generic message. Turning a dyed cape into a Hero Cape removes the dye.
- The talent pages on the website were corrected against the in-game tooltips: Critical Points can be spent with any weapon, Dead Weight no longer lists an attack speed penalty that was removed, and a line about shield absorption that describes an impossible case is gone.
Fixed
- Weapon talent trees now sleep while you are not holding their weapon. Short Sword's Critical Point recharge and Long Sword's Second Wind defense bonus no longer apply with another weapon in hand. Riposte, spending Critical Points and Fencing's magical hit ratio keep working with any weapon, exactly as their tooltips say.
- Fixed the Skeleton rendering fully black.
- The Goblin Warlock no longer skates when walking, and its head and shoulder no longer go dark when it takes damage or dies.
- Fixed a false "files that are not part of the game" block that could appear after installing new art locally.
