Update 1.45.0

Patch notes are written in English only — the same text the game shows in every language.

Raiding the other city just lost its safest hiding spot: enemy buildings and the enemy farm no longer open for you. Closer to home, guild members can now walk out without waiting for their Guildmaster, and the slates you craft are the very same ones the Coin Shop sells.

You must update your client to log in. Close the game and the launcher, then reopen the launcher and press PLAY. On Steam the update is automatic.

Changed

  • Citizens of one city can no longer enter the other city's farm or any of its buildings. Those entrances do nothing for you and are no longer highlighted on the ground or the minimap. The city itself can still be invaded, and characters with no city are unaffected.
  • You can leave a guild on your own: double-click a Guild Secession Ticket, or hand it to the Guildhall Officer, and confirm. The Guildmaster no longer has to be online. The ticket is used up only if you actually leave, and a Guildmaster with members still has to hand over leadership first.
  • You can carry as many Guild Admission Tickets as your bag holds, so Guildmasters can hand them to the players they invite. Guild Secession Tickets are still one at a time.
  • Slates made by combining the four Ancient Pieces of Stone are now the same item as the Coin Shop ones: same name, same artwork, a fiftieth of the weight, and shops now buy them. Tablets you already own convert the next time you log in.

New

  • /checkrep tells you how many seconds are left before you can give reputation again, and before you can trade it. If you are below level 40 or not a friendly citizen, it says so instead.
  • Double-clicking a building or an exit on the minimap walks you straight to its door.
  • The Help window (Ctrl+H) is now organised by topic. Each topic opens its tips, with new ones for Tom's Forge, Spell Ascension, fishing, farming and Hero gear, and a Full guide button takes you to the matching wiki page in your language.

Improved

  • Item tooltips show a Strength, Intelligence, Magic or Dexterity requirement in red when your character does not meet it, and shop warnings now count the stats from your Tutelary Angel.
  • The Sort button in the Warehouse and the Shared Bank keeps potions together by type, from weakest to strongest.
  • Item links survive resending your last chat message with End, even if you have since moved the item to your Warehouse, Shared Bank, mailbox or an active auction.
  • Footstep dust is easier to see when running.
  • The wiki has been checked against the game page by page: the Talents page reads line for line like the in-game tooltips in all six languages, and the bestiary shows monsters in their current artwork.

Fixed

  • Your character no longer vanishes and freezes for a few seconds after bumping into other players while being chased.
  • /to no longer opens your next message in the Party, Guild or other channel you had used before.
