Version 1.2.0 - Poison clouds, team callouts and smarter monsters
As notas de atualização são escritas apenas em inglês: é o mesmo texto que o jogo mostra em todos os idiomas.
Poison clouds stopped being a damage spell and became a poison spell, no persistent field interrupts you any more, and monsters finally fight back the way they should. Read the Changed section before you head out: three of these will surprise you mid-fight, and it is better to find out here than by dying.
New
- Team callouts. Bind AMP, Off, Attack or Help to any of Q, E, R, T, F, Z, X or C and fire one without typing a word. It appears over your head for 3 seconds in its own color, and only allies of your own side who have you on screen can see it. Press a key that has nothing useful bound to it and the bind menu opens. There is a 5 second cooldown between callouts.
- F11 opens a transparency console. Slide the HUD, the minimap and the guide from solid to see-through while you play and watch it change live over the game, instead of picking blind between two presets.
- Alchemy recipes work. Every mix used to answer "Incorrect ingredients to mix the potion" even with the exact ingredients in your bag, because the recipe table was never loaded. All 19 alchemy and 25 crafting recipes are live now, so Alchemy and the Crafting Vessel are usable for the first time.
- The Blacksmith stocks the Knight Full-Helm (M) and (W).
- The wiki now documents the full talent tree: all seven steps of every talent, how progression works, and the permanent A/B branch at Rebirth 2.
Changed
- Poison Cloud and Cloud Kill now kill with poison instead of damage. They no longer chip small yellow numbers off you. They apply poison as strong as a Poison Damage 30 weapon (Poison Cloud) and a Poison Damage 65 weapon (Cloud Kill), the ticks show up in light blue, and everyone around can see them. Standing still inside a cloud makes the poison tick twice as fast; step out and it slows back down. Two consequences worth knowing before you cast. Poison never takes a player below 1 HP, so Cloud Kill can no longer finish a player off. And a monster that dies to cloud poison still awards no experience and no drops, exactly as before.
- No persistent field interrupts you any more. Ice Storm, Fire Wall, Fire Field, Storm Bringer, Spike Field and both poison clouds deal their damage as environmental damage now: your chant is not cut, a monster's turn is not frozen, and being paralyzed no longer wears off just because you were dragged into one. Fire Wall, Fire Field and Spike Field also went quiet, with no floating number and no sword-hit sound, only your health bar moving. Ice Storm and Storm Bringer keep their number, and Ice Storm still freezes.
- Martyr can now cost the martyr his life. The link used to stop at 1 HP, so a Holy could never pay for his own spell with his life. That cap is gone. If the redirected 30% kills you, you die the normal way and the kill is credited to whoever was hitting your ally: their Enemy Kill, their reputation, your drop. The redirected hit is also visible at last, with a floating number on the martyr, and it really is 30% now that Direct Blessing no longer shaves it down to 24%.
- The Ice Map is a level 120 hunting zone again. Icebound had been raised to 140 because it is the doorway to the Apocalypse event. It is back to 120, which is the band the zone was built for. The map behind the gate still asks for 140, so while the event is running a character below that can walk into Icebound but the gate will send them back to town.
- The Lucky Prize Ticket has been pulled from the General Shop. It never awarded anything and was consumed on use, so it was charging 50,000 gold for nothing.
- Chat messages can be 50% longer.
- Shop listings are grouped by category with headers, at the Blacksmith, the General Shop and the Event Officer.
Fixed
- Asking for a spell while a movement key was held used to swallow the cast. The key still down overwrote the magic order on the next frame, the chant never started, and the spell disappeared with no message at all. Requesting a spell now stops keyboard movement on the spot.
- Typing in chat no longer drinks potions or triggers your bound abilities.
- Monsters chase you to the death instead of giving up halfway, walk back to their spawn when lured too far, and turn to fight if you hit them on the way back. They retaliate on every hit that lands, no longer forget a target they can still reach, and no longer freeze in place while you keep hitting them - sustained magic used to reset their action clock faster than they could ever act on it. A monster boxed in by other monsters no longer stands there forever either: it gives up on the blocked path and re-routes.
- The Dark Mage Magic Staff and the Dark Knight Rapier no longer appear upside down when your character faces certain directions.
- Consecrated Wrath's ground impacts kick up golden dust, so the starburst no longer looks harsh.
- The key bind picker only offers abilities your character has actually unlocked, instead of listing talents you cannot use.
- Item icons show their real colors in the shop, cash shop, enchant, manufacture and fishing windows - the Knight set, Dark Knight gear and every dyed item included. Potions show their "Restores X-Y HP/MP" line again.
- A strip of up to 7 pixels along the bottom of the screen was never painted. It stayed hidden under the old solid HUD band, and would have shown up as black now that the HUD can be see-through.
- The launcher no longer fails while updating. The update server was counting older launchers against a shared limit and answering them with errors in the middle of a download.
