Update 1.43.0
Списки изменений пишутся только на английском — игра показывает этот же текст на всех языках.
The Dark Elf has a new look and the same bad intentions, and she brought the Gargoyle with her. Back in town, the Blacksmith finally stocks an anvil, which makes Manufacturing an actual trade, and item names now tell you what they are before you read a single stat.
You must update your client to log in. Close the game and the launcher, then reopen the launcher and press PLAY. On Steam the update is automatic.
New
The Dark Elf, redrawn. The Dark Elf has been rebuilt in 3D at four times the resolution, with her bow, her stance and her timing kept faithful to the original. The Gargoyle got the same treatment. Go and take a look — from a safe distance, ideally.
Manufacturing is open for business. The Blacksmith now sells the Smiths Anvil for 1,500 gold, under Miscellaneous, so all 97 recipes can be crafted, and Tom sells the Mining Manual and the Manufacturing Manual. Quality (Completion) comes from the purity of the bars and coal you put in, from 0 to 200%. Bars and coal stack by purity in bands of 10, you pick the stack with a click, and the Completion the panel shows is the one you get. A crafted weapon deals +1, +2 or +3 damage at 133%, 166% and 200%. Selling crafted gear to a shop pays its materials times its Completion when that beats the normal price. Tom's Forge does not take crafted weapons. Ores, gems, bars, coal and wares have new icons.
Item names, by color. Every item name is colored by its category: normal, forged, magic, epic, fragile or unique. The word "Epic" is gone from item names, since the color says it. The Item Drops list groups items as Unique, Magic Epic, Magic and Normal. Necklaces, wands and staffs with built-in stats show as Magic; Guardian Angels and the Dark weapons from City Hall show as Unique.
Changed
- Character names take only English letters and digits (A-Z, a-z, 0-9), both at creation and with a Name Change Ticket. GM, GameMaster, Admin, Administrator, Staff, System, Support and Moderator, alone or followed by digits, are reserved. A rejected name does not spend your ticket.
- Item Drops list: each stat now qualifies on its own, and two stats below their mark no longer add up to get an item in. An item goes to the list from Poisoning 32, Light 36%, Mana Converting 14%, Crush Chance 14%, Experience on armor 24%, Poison Resistance 30%, Hitting Probability 49, Defense Ratio 42, HP Recovery 42%, MP Recovery 42%, Magic Resistance 42%, Physical Absorption 15%, Magic Absorption 15%, Crush Damage 24% or Experience 30%.
- Ice puts out fire and fire thaws ice. Any ice hit puts out a burning target and douses the Fire Wall, Fire Field and crater tiles it lands on; any fire hit thaws a frozen target.
- Area spells such as Fire Field and Cloud Kill hit the moment you step in, even on the edge, and at most once per second.
- Confusion and Mass Confusion: while they last, every other player shows as Unknown, with no nation color, guild, title, party tag or health bar. A plain click will not attack them; hold Ctrl.
- Illusion and Mass Illusion are now visible to both nations.
- Illusion Movement no longer deals lightning damage. It is now a smaller Mass Illusion Movement: a 3x3 area for 20 seconds.
- Blood: Blood Essence caps at 100, up from 10. Transfusion costs 50, up from 6, and heals like Great Heal (4d10+35), or 125% of that under Blood Frenzy; it used to heal 3d8+18 at 60% and 75%.
- Mass Heal and Transfusion pick at random among allies at the same health percentage.
- Summon Creature is capped at 5 living creatures.
- The Fragile Sword of Medusa paralyzes the player it hits for 10 seconds while its ability is active. Protection From Magic and Absolute Magic Protection do not stop it; Merien's Shield does.
- Fragile items can no longer be listed at the Auction House.
- Dying clears Inhibition Casting and puts out any burn on you.
- Dungeon L2 is less crowded and has no more Mountain Giants or Ogres: the Cyclops is the toughest thing down there.
- The Blacksmith sells the Wizard Magic Staff (MS20) for 10,000 gold and (MS10) for 5,000. The Direction-Bow is no longer unique and upgrades with the odds of any other bow. The Arrow Guard Tower, Cannon Guard Tower and Detector Kits are no longer sold.
- The Detect Invisibility Scroll is back in the General Shop for 560 gold. It reveals every invisible player and creature nearby, ascended Invisibility included, and can be read once every 10 seconds. Travelers cannot use it.
- Scrolls of Renown combine in the Crafting Vessel into one scroll holding their total, up to 255.
- Huntmasters and Raidmasters can withdraw from the guild warehouse.
- A batch of legacy items that could not be obtained anywhere has been removed. Leather (M) is now Leather Armor (M).
- Options (F12): Queue clicks and Shift to pickup are gone. Chat logging is on by default unless you had turned it off.
Improved
- Status effects sit above the head as small badges with their stack count, on players and monsters. Poison is a skull. Your own debuffs appear in your buff bar with a red ring and the time left.
- Hover any skill in the Skills window (F8) to see what it does, its stat limit and how it trains.
- Name plates have a solid outline and show guild and rank, your own included.
- Buildings fade out completely when you step behind them, and trees turn see-through when a monster walks behind them.
- Spells land exactly where you aim, and Mass Magic Missile's impact covers the area it hits.
- Fire Wall and Fire Field no longer flood the screen with glare at night and in dungeons.
- The Mobs and General tabs of the character window update live, and Defense Ratio shows the value used when you get hit.
- Dialog buttons light up on hover, and clicking an ability on the HUD and then a key binds it right away.
Fixed
- The game failing to open with no error on some Windows PCs with an outdated Visual C++ runtime.
- Dropped connections when many players log in at once, and the brief freeze when someone created a character.
- Thin vertical lines while running with the camera zoom above 100%.
- Renaming a character: your auction listings, bids, friends list and chat rooms follow you, and a name someone else used before no longer hands you their guild rank, friends or arena rating.
- Bound items sent by system mail arrive bound, and a Fragile item keeps its timer.
- Majestic balances above 32,767 turning negative.
- The zoomed minimap showing monster art in Middleland and other zones.
- Deleting a guild leader's character now tells you to transfer the leadership first.
- Missing Chinese characters in the Fury of Thor and Illusion Movement tooltips.
