Services of the Realm

City Hall & Services

Both capitals run a city hall, and between them they hold most of what a character does when it is not fighting: selling to strangers, mailing a friend, storing a hoard, travelling, respeccing and starting over stronger. This page is the map of who to click.

Auction House

Barnaby's ledger is the server's open market. You list an item, walk away, and the auction runs without you — no standing in town spamming a trade channel, no waiting for the buyer to be online at the same time as you. Listings are browsable, bids are yours to place and withdraw, and the tabs keep your own sales, your own bids and the history of what things actually sold for.

Auctions are priced in EVO Coins, which makes them a real market rather than a way to launder gold. The gold fees are there to keep it that way: listing costs something, so nobody floods the board, and pulling a bid costs something, so a bid means what it says.

Player mail

Open Mailbox in William's menu and you can write to any character on your side and attach up to 20 items to the letter. The recipient does not have to be online — that is the whole point. It costs 100 gold to send, you need to be level 20, and anything nobody claims comes back to you after 30 days rather than vanishing. Your mailbox holds 50 letters.

The mailbox is also where the game reaches you: when your Drops list overflows its cap, the overflow is mailed to you instead of being thrown away.

Warehouse

The warehouse keeper holds ten pages of storage per account, sorted into categories for you, with a search box and the mouse wheel to flip pages. It is shared across your characters, so the sword your mage will never swing can wait for the warrior you have not made yet.

Guilds get their own: the guild warehouse grows with the guild's warehouse upgrade, fifty slots per level up to 500 at level ten. Every member can deposit; the guildmaster, captains and veterans can withdraw. See the guild system for the ranks.

Teleport

The city hall will move you across the world for a fee. Travel drops you on a spread of landing spots rather than one square, so arriving is not an invitation to be boxed in by whoever was waiting.

Rebirth

At level 140 you can be reborn, and you can do it up to thirty times. A rebirth sends you back to level 1 with your stats reset — but you keep your items, your skills and your entire talent tree, and you gain three extra stat points that are yours forever. Each rebirth costs gold (200,000 per rebirth, capped at a million) and five Majestics per rebirth.

Levelling gets slower with each rebirth, but not forever: the penalty stops growing at the twentieth rebirth. Rebirths 21 through 30 level at exactly the same rate as the twentieth, so the last stretch is a grind you can actually finish. The numbers are on Character Development.

Coin Shop

The in-game coin shop is paid in EVO Coins and sells services rather than power: town changes, stat and name changes, guild name changes, armour sex changers, cosmetic dyes, an Unlearn Talent Ticket for when your build was a mistake, and the slates. Nothing in it swings a fight that gear and talents do not swing harder. See Economy for how the currencies fit together.

Event Officer

Thaddeus trades in Event Tokens, and you earn those by taking tokens instead of gold when you hand in a quest — most of the quest book offers the choice. His shelf is twenty-one items deep: reputation points, Stones of Xelima and Merien for your upgrades, the Unlearn Talent Ticket at 280 tokens, and a rack of fragile versions of weapons you would otherwise have to pray for — real power with a short life, so you can borrow a Sword of Medusa for a week of hunting without ever having seen one drop.

Hero Items

Hero gear is bought with war, not gold: bring 100 enemy kills and ten contribution to William and the set is yours, with bonuses that only apply in combat — hit ratio for warriors, magic for casters. The cape has its own cosmetics in the coin shop. Details on Dark Knight/Mage & Hero Items.

Dark Knight & Dark Mage weapons

At maximum level, William hands you one Dark weapon of each kind — once per character, ever. They are the endgame reward for finishing the climb, and unlike everything else in the game they upgrade with a guaranteed success all the way to +5, paying in Majestics instead of luck. No stone lost, no gear broken; just a long bill. See Dark Knight/Mage & Hero Items.
