Character Development
Everything that makes your character stronger — the six attributes, the point budget behind them, the pools they feed, and the two long-game systems, Rebirth and Tutelary Angels. Every number here is read straight from our game data.
The six attributes
Characters in Helbreath Evolution are defined by six attributes. Five are the classic pillars; the sixth, Luck, is our unified stat — the old separate “charisma” has been folded into it. You raise attributes by spending the stat points you earn on every level.
| Attribute | Short | What it governs |
|---|---|---|
| Strength | Str | Melee damage, carry weight (Max Load) and your stamina pool. |
| Vitality | Vit | Health pool, HP/SP regeneration and physical & magical damage reduction. |
| Dexterity | Dex | Physical accuracy — it raises your hit ratio, and it raises the defence of anyone who has it. |
| Intelligence | Int | Gates which spells you can learn and feeds a small part of your mana pool. |
| Magic | Mag | Mana pool, magic damage and magic resistance. |
| Luck | Luk | Crush chance (0.33% per point), better drops (+0.125% per point to both item and gold drop chance) and summon capacity (points = Luck × 300). |
Levelling and your point budget
Every character starts with 10 in each attribute plus 10 free points to place at creation — 70 points in total. From there each level hands you 3 more, and each rebirth hands you 3 more that are yours forever. No attribute may pass 200.

- 577 level 140, 30 rebirths
That makes your whole spread a single arithmetic question, and it is the one the calculator answers:
(level − 1) × 3 + 70 + rebirths × 3A fresh level 1 character has 70. At the level cap with no rebirths that is 487. At level 140 with all 30 rebirths behind you it is 577 — the most any character on this server can ever have spread across six attributes capped at 200 each.
Experience per level climbs steeply toward the cap, so the early levels fly by and the high end is a long grind. What you cannot do is out-grind the budget: 577 points is the ceiling, and every build is a choice about where they go.
Derived pools
Your attributes and level feed four derived pools. These are the current, live formulas from our game data — exactly what the server uses, and they already reflect Evolution's tuning of the SP and HP pools. Where a formula shows an angelic term, that is the extra boost a Tutelary Angel pendant adds on top (see below).
| Pool | Formula | In plain terms |
|---|---|---|
| Max HP | vit * 2 + level * 3 + str * 0.6667 + angelic_str * 0.6667 | Health. Driven mostly by Vitality, with a Strength and level contribution. |
| Max MP | mag * 2 + angelic_mag * 2 + level * 2 + int * 0.5 + angelic_int * 0.5 | Mana. Driven by Magic, with an Intelligence and level contribution. |
| Max SP | 10 + level * 2 + (str + angelic_str) | Stamina. Scales off Strength and level; drained by attacking and running. |
| Max Load | str * 5 + angelic_str * 5 + level * 5 | Carry weight. Scales off Strength and level. |
How fast those pools refill is covered on the Combat page.
Rebirth
Rebirth lets a maxed character reset for permanent growth. It requires reaching level 140, and you can rebirth up to 30 times. Each rebirth hands you 3 permanent stat points on top of everything you already had, and you keep your items, your skills and your entire talent tree — only your level and your spent stats go back to the start. Re-levelling is slower each time:
exp_gain × 0.80 ^ min(rebirth, 20)The multiplier compounds up to the twentieth rebirth — 0.80× on the 1st, 0.64× on the 2nd — and then stops. Rebirths 21 through 30 level at exactly the same rate as the 20th, so the last third of the climb never gets any harder than it already was.
Mob specialties
Your character also grows in a direction the sheet does not show. Every monster species you kill enough of turns you into its specialist: better drop rate against that kind, more damage dealt to it, a better chance to land the hit, and less damage taken when it hits back. It rewards hunting a camp properly instead of chasing whatever is convenient — and it is why a veteran feels different in a familiar dungeon than a fresh character with the same gear.
Joining the smaller side
If the nation you pick is the outnumbered one at the time, the realm pays you for it: a +20% experience bonus for seven days. It is checked when you choose, so a server that drifts out of balance corrects itself through new characters rather than through a lecture.
Tutelary Angels
Tutelary Angels are worn as Angelic Pendants — one for Strength, Dexterity, Intelligence and Magic. Equipping a pendant boosts that attribute as if you had spent extra points in it, so a Strength angel makes you carry more and hit harder, a Magic angel deepens your mana pool and its regeneration, and so on for each stat.
Each pendant grows stronger along a star ladder that runs to +15: the more stars it has, the bigger the attribute boost it grants. Because that boost stacks on top of your own points, upgrading an angel lifts every pool that attribute feeds at once — and it does not come out of your point budget.
