The skills worth going out of your way for
Most skills train themselves as you play. These four change what you can do:
- Enchanting — the gate on every enchant you will ever make. Your skill sets the highest stat tier you are allowed to apply: skill × 17 / 100. It rises every time you disenchant or enchant something, so it trains itself — but until you train it, the panel refuses you. See Enchanting.
- Alchemy — double-click an Alchemy Bowl to brew from the recipe book below.
- Mining — equip a Pick Axe and attack a rock. Ore veins sit in the dungeons and the middle lands, and what you pull out feeds Crafting Vessel.
- Fishing — double-click a Fishing Rod and click the water. The towns, the farms and the islands all have their own fishing spots.
