What Makes This Server

Why Evolution

Helbreath Evolution is Helbreath — the same swing, the same two nations, the same fear when a red name walks onto your screen. What follows is everything we built on top of it, and every line of it is live on the server right now. Nothing on this page is a promise.

How you grow

Progression here has more than one axis, and none of them are a subscription.

  • A talent tree, not a class

Seventeen talents; you take two, one at level 10 and one at level 40. Each runs seven steps deep, and at the second rebirth it forks into two branches you choose between — permanently. Two of those steps hand you an activatable skill you bind to a key and press mid-fight.

    Talents & Builds →
  • Thirty rebirths, and the wall stops moving

Reach 140 and start again stronger, up to thirty times, keeping your items, your skills and your whole talent tree, and gaining three permanent stat points each run. The experience penalty freezes at the twentieth rebirth, so the endgame stays finishable instead of turning into an asymptote.

    Character Development →
  • The monsters remember you

Kill enough of a species and you become its specialist: better drop rate, more damage, better hit ratio and less damage taken from that kind of thing. Grinding one camp is no longer wasted time.

    Monsters & Drops →
  • The smaller side gets paid

Join whichever nation is outnumbered and you carry twenty per cent more experience for a week. Population balance is a reward here, not a lecture.

What you find

Loot, enchanting and crafting are the systems we changed the most.

  • Rare drops do not fall on the floor

When something worth having drops, it does not land in the dirt for the fastest mouse. Your party rolls Need or Greed on it, and what you win goes to a persistent list you claim whenever you like — it survives logout, and if it overflows, the overflow is mailed to you.

    Loot & Rarity →
  • Enchanting with fragments and shards

Break down what you do not need into fragments, fold two of a tier into one of the next, and put the result on the gear you do use. Seventeen stat types across seventeen tiers, with your Enchanting skill setting how high you are allowed to reach. Broke something? The last twenty items you destroyed can be recovered.

    Enchanting →
  • Upgrading you can plan for

Weapons go to +7, armour to +5, with the odds published rather than whispered — and the Dark Knight and Dark Mage weapons upgrade at a guaranteed hundred per cent, paying in Majestics instead of luck.

    Upgrade Calculator →
  • Crafting that actually chains

The Crafting Vessel turns an MR15 into an MR20 and an MS12 into an MS14: sixteen necklace chains that climb stage by stage, plus jewel and ware recipes. Alchemy brews nineteen potions at the bowl, mining and fishing feed the rest.

    Crafting Vessel →
  • Slates and charge wands

Assemble four ancient stones into a tablet and drink twenty minutes of doubled damage — or of experience worth up to five times the usual, never less than triple — and the timer keeps running whether or not you stay logged in. Charge wands hand your character a spell they never learned, for two hundred casts.

The world around you

The parts of a server that decide whether you log in tomorrow.

  • An auction house

List an item and walk away. Bids, history and your own sales live in one board, priced in EVO Coins, running twenty-four hours whether you are online or not.

    City Hall & Services →
  • Mail with attachments

Send a letter and twenty items to someone who is not online. Unclaimed mail comes back to you instead of disappearing.

    City Hall & Services →
  • Storage that is not a punishment

Ten warehouse pages, sorted for you, with a search box — and up to five hundred slots of guild warehouse on top.

    Guild System →
  • A quest book, not a quest

One hundred and forty-nine quests, five active at once, each repeatable three times a day, opening anywhere from level 1 to the level 140 cap — and none of them ever expire on you. Hand one in for experience and contribution, and on most of them take your pick of gold or Event Tokens to spend at the event officer.

    Quests →
  • Events on a clock you can read

Double experience three times a week and a twelve-hour Apocalypse every weekend, with the next window and its countdown shown in-game — in server time or your own.

    Events →

How it feels to play

Small things, felt every session.

  • Eight keys that are yours

Q E R T F Z X C hold whatever you put on them: a talent skill, or a team call your allies see over your head without anyone typing a word.

    Commands & Hotkeys →
  • The interface got out of the way

Party health bars over your allies, minimap markers and pings, a chat history with nine filterable channels, command autocomplete, a translucent HUD on F11, and a system menu that remembers what you set.

    Commands & Hotkeys →
  • A launcher that repairs itself

Patches file by file against a checksum manifest, and a Repair button that re-verifies your whole install when something looks wrong.

  • Dark weapons, hero gear and tutelary angels

Endgame sets with their own artwork, earned with kills and contribution rather than bought — and pendants that climb to +15 for anyone patient enough to pay for it.
